Where We Stand

     We find ourselves in a peculiar position in this community.  We have met countless other families who have been directly touched by the "Services to Children and Families".  SCF has broken up more families than they have repaired.  Their rules state at the forefront they are required to "make every reasonable effort to keep children with their family" yet they have a reputation of removing children immediately often on nothing more than hearsay or rumor.

     We have testimony from scores of families who detail clear unlawful behavior of SCF.  We do not stand alone. Perhaps we were brought to this community by God to wake up the citizens and the Public Leaders to this atrocity.  Most of these wronged families are now living in fear of the Government.  They know SCF is watching.  They know they can come in any time without warrant and snatch the one thing they hold most dear, their children.  This is wrong, the Government is to represent the people.

     Further, in our own legal papers and affidavits we have evidence for the court of multiple counts of unlawful procedure and actions.  This agency has broken our trust, lied to us at every occasion, says they have the best interest of our children at heart and wants to help us.  They have broken at least half a dozen ORS State Statutes and dozens of their own policy rules.  They also immediately launched a large-scale character smear project involving the Police and Local Media   We are a well-known family both in the United States and in England.  This mishap will certainly affect the commerce and tourism of this "All American City".

     Our interest lies in #1 getting our Daughters back into our Loving Care as quickly as possible without condition and #2 holding SCF and associated agencies/persons accountable for their unlawful behavior, in so doing protecting the thousands of other families in this community from further abuse.  These abuses by SCF will have dire consequences on this community if left unchecked.  We have grown to love Grants Pass and we plan on staying.  However, this is not the way to treat new Visitors.  The reputation of the town is being destroyed by SCF and cooperating agencies.  It is already affecting tourism.  We receive dozens of phone calls from concerned potential visitors to the area who are afraid to visit Grant Pass for fear of having their children taken without cause.

     Through this situation we have developed a passion to see justice for all.  We fully intend to fight to preserve the family in Grants Pass, which is clearly under attack.  Many of these families are intimidated by SCF and are afraid to speak out, but we have nothing left to lose so we stand strong in our God.

     We have no intention to be held to certain rules and procedures when SCF does not honor their own rules, procedures, or even State Statutes and especially the Constitutions.  We will not accept the blackmail standard that SCF employs in taking away children and then coercing families into self-incrimination to get their children back.  This is an illegal practice and will be exposed at all costs.

     When SCF intends to honor their oaths, the laws and the Constitutions, then they will receive our honor and respect and full cooperation.  Because we are a family of integrity we will not compromise even to the cost of our lives.
