"The Cut"
that destroyed the
 Christine family.

Prosecution witness Dr James Giesen, displaying a photograph, said the wound was so badly infected that it gave off a bacterial smell of feces. "The odor almost overwhelmed the room," Giesen said. "A couple of us stepped out."

So, were is the severe redness, swelling, and pus that would be associated with such a "badly infected" wound?

Giesen, the last witness to testify, said Lydia had a fractured skull and a cut on the right side of her forehead that had not healed. Giesen said the wound was so badly infected that it gave off a bacterial smell of feces.

The odor almost overwhelmed the room.  A couple of us stepped out.

I asked my retired RN mother about that statement, and she said-

I have seen some STAPH infections that smelled pretty bad.  But you wouldn't use the term "smell of feces" to describe it.
As for ER personnel 'stepping out' because of an odor, this is an absurd statement

Personally, I could easily use the word LIE

Remember, this is the FOURTH doctor the Oregon SCF consulted.  The previous doctors and x-rays found NO SKULL FRACTURE.  This is what Defense Lawyer Edgar Steele called "doctor shopping".

The testimony of Dr James Giesen is HIGHLY IMPEACHABLE and should NOT be left unchallenged.

And remember-

He said everything was the "worst he had ever seen" when describing the Christine children.  The news ate up these sensational statements, yet
did not report the cross examination that

this doctor was not even there when the children were brought in.
